- Dispatch from Death Row: Saving Troy Davis With a Family’s Lov
- Thank you Glenna Jones-kachtik! You have express my opinion for all of those who assume
guilt because of incarceration! It's happened to several people I know, personally, and for the very reasons you talk about, they were unable to defend themselves or their representation was a joke! How many attorneys do you think you can afford if the one you've hired doesn't do the job? They all require upfront retainers. And anybody in the "justice" system KNOWS that court appointed defense is...well - indefensible! How many GOOD attorneys are working for the poor? I heard one attorney say his degree was "a license to steal - ha ha." It's a game being played with human lives - like so many others in this country - and it's not about anything more than money and power (ego). really don't want vengeance, but I would like to see the people who have made self-righteous judgments go through what has happened to too many people in this country. A walk in the moccasins of someone falsely accused would change their tune and turn that finger they pointing in another direction
- Taking a human life as punishment for a crime flies in the face of all universal laws of respect
and compassion. There is no place for the death penalty in a civilised society.
